My daughter is now in 9th. Next year we will have to take a decision on which stream to go for? What is your opinion on the new job opprtunities and career in India.

dear sir,

as of now in india there are many opportunities in many different fields; what really matters is, what kind of aptitude does your kid have, to gauge that take her to some sort of career counselling wherein you can find the above mentioned.

as far as career opportunities in india:

1.IT- Since today everything is dependent in IT we can never leave out this field; again in IT there are many sub divisions like
a. Software
b. Hardware
c. Database Management
d. SAP
d. Oracle Financial
e. Networking
f. System oriented job

the list just goes on.

2. Electronics And Communication
Today due to the extensive use of consumer electronics and use of various communication system it is not a bad idea to pursue a job in this field.

3. Management and Marketing

understanding the simple concept that only production is not important for a corporate to flourish management and marketing is equally important so even going for this also is a good bet.

I am leaving you with these options; it is not that these are the only career opp; i am quite proficient in the above mentioned hence i gave u an insight, there are also other like:

1. Fashion Technology
2. BioTechnology
3. Interior Designing
4. Micro Biology
5. Aircraft Technology

etcetra.

Now I think the best thing to do is don't think about too much into the future. Go by her choice. After all only if she is interested she will excel.

Hi, thanks for your views neo. Yes of course only if she is interested she will excel but the thing is she is not mature enough to point out her interest, So in such a situation it is up to me to find her the best option right.

I shall suggest you to choose the career of an advocate for her. You see this is Kalyug and disputes have to increase at tremedous rate. All disputes reach to the court at one point, so the the career of advocate is excellent. Girls are talkative in nature also. A good advocate should have this ability also which is God gifted in girls. So the choice of being an advocate will be excellent. Rest is up to you and your daughter.

its better to write the entrance exam and join for btech..

engineers are always needed in many technical fields..

mechanical is one of the best reputed branch in btech..

electronics and computer science are also good...
