We can grade students only by their skills not by the marks which they got by mugging up some questions

its not the right practice to judge students by the marks they get. that will make the students only study what is there in the book and have no idea of what lies outside the book. There should be overall evaluation as it is in schools outside India. Sports also will get an encouragement if that system is followed.

most of the people including parents and teachers are judging students by the mark he/she get in an exam.it is not a good practice because,the student who is not good in writing exams such as final exam,cbse +2 exams ,may get high ranking in the entrance exams.i know many students getting very poor marks in their school/college exams successfully getting good ranks in objective model exams
