Can anyone advice me about how to go about with adsense? Any tips?

Hi I am working on adsense for the past one year. Till now I dont have a decent revenue from it. I dont know what is wrong! Anyone please help me out.

Buy a domain name and hosting space. Prepare good content rich website.It should be atleast 50 pages.Submit it to all major search engines.
Now sign up for adsense. Once your application is approved , paste the code in your website.

Many websites you will see ad saying "make $xxxx every month online with google adsense. adsense secret cracked. buy ebook (or something) for $xx"
its simple that if one is making money in four figures why he is selling product for much less money. its all BS. don't give attention to such offers.
no one can earn money without efforts. only and only hard work can get you money. or else you have to be very creative in your ideas. (like sabir bhatiya started hotmail)
review your projects that you have done in past year. analyse what went wrong. try to overcome those problem. if you can't overcome that problem then hire some expert to do so. either you have to spend money or time to earn more money.
don't run after easy money. build site with good unique content. make it useful for people. automatically people will like you site & service and will drive more traffic. and more traffic is more money.
